  Our Philosophy~

-Our philosophy is to combine traditional techniques for creating a sleek and lush landscape along with a great appreciation for nature. Though it is almost impossible to keep our lawns cut as often as they should be without contributing some pollutants, there are ways we believe we can keep the pollutants way down. Our company does not use chemical sprays. Our secret to a beautiful lawn and garden is balancing the soil in which your landscape will rely on to thrive.  One easy example of that is mulch fertilizing.  Rather than applying chemical fertilizing spray that kills off natures best aeraters and thatchers, worms and insects, we ask you to consider simply putting your  yards natural nutrients back in.  Mulching takes your grass clippings and cuts them up very finely and then puts them back into your yard, supplying your soil with just the right balance of nutrients it needs.  If your lawn is not overgrown then this method of natural fertilizing will never be detected by the human eye.  Though not required we do encourage this alternative way of fertilizing at least a few times during the mowing season, remember too much mulch creates thatch so we don't recommend this method in excess.

To encourage chemical cut backs we offer an organic fertilizing incentive that gives you $2.00 back each time you apply this mulch fertilizing method in place of a chemical spray.  In return you have a naturally healthy lawn and more money in your pocket!  Another practice that we encourage is to mow more frequently! How can this possibly cut back on pollutants you ask?  Well, by having your lawn cut  frequently at a higher cutting height opposed to keeping your lawn cut short and infrequent, you are helping to protect your lawn's soil.  You are retaining moisture and increasing shade which helps keep certain diseases, harmful insects and weeds out of your lawn that thrive on the dry parched soil exposed by the short grass, thus reducing the need for toxic, poisonous chemicals from spray fertilizers, insect sprays and disease treatments. To acheive a lush, green and healthy lawn remember you have to take care of the soil, not just the grass.
